Biography For Cory Boyas

Mr. Boyas has worked extensively in New York City, choreographing the Off-Broadway smash hit Rock-A-My-Soul, and teaching at both Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. He went on to serve as dance captain in the Broadway production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and was invited to teach for a year at the prestigious Balletschülle Theatergassen in Bamberg, Germany.He re-created the original Bob Fosse choreography for the 1996 National Tour of Sweet Charity, and has directed and choreographed numerous productions including Sugar Babies, City Of Angels, A Night At The Cotton Club, Wizard Of Oz, Music Man, South Pacific, and Bye Bye Birdie, amongst others.

Mr. Boyas also has extensive performing experience, performing on stages throughout Europe and the United States. Performances include 42nd Street, A Chorus Line, George M!, Crazy For You, Forever Plaid, Joseph...Dreamcoat, Phantom, The Bald Princess, Little Shop of Horrors, 1776, and many more.
